Focus on peace, harmony and bodily awareness through coordinating breath and movement. Ha means sun and tha means moon therefore Hatha represents opposing energies: hot and cold (fire and water, following the same concept as the yin-yang), male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via asana or physical movements, controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation.
Classes are all individual, organic and specific to who is in class. The teacher is the least most important person in the class, so why should they have the most say on what your class is? We know that you come to yoga to heal, to feel good, to awaken your truest self. And we have found that honoring the organic nature of this process allows the class to be crafted to be perfect for you.
