I so respect and admire my yoga teacher, Stacey. She is an incredibly gifted teacher, spiritual guide and an amazing person. She shares her passion for yoga, auryvedic medicine, shamanism and energy medicine generously in each class without ever pushing. She is empathic and leads class at a number of levels simultaneously – teaching students about our physical and energy bodies, how to open to the wisdom we have within so that we can love and care for ourselves at increasingly deep levels. From the first moment I entered the studio 2 years ago, I knew I had found a new home. She’s created a space that is loving, peaceful and filled with the most wonderful energy. She begins each class asking students what we want to work on – and accepts anything from a body part to a chakra or meridian to more generally, grounding or increased energy. She creates the class on the spot and offers easy to understand directions. She is always encouraging and accepting. My favorite part of class is the spiritual lesson she weaves into practice – she always seems to be spot on with her story, seemingly reading my mind and heart and giving me exactly what I need in the moment. Practice with Stacey is a spiritual experience. She is constantly learning more herself and uses her learning to deepen the practice she offers to students. She is loving and humble while being honest, funny and real; she is fun to be around and I love to go to her classes – I look forward to them, which has never happened to me before. She is a beautiful example of following her own path - always doing her own work and using her own learning to offer us many opportunities to learn for ourselves. She’s created and is leading an open, free flowing and loving community in her studio. I am a truly changed person from taking advantage of the opportunities and learning she’s provided. I’m pretty experienced is personal and spiritual growth, but Stacey has guided me into a more beautiful relationship with myself, my body, while simultaneously helping me open my heart at a deeper level. She is a brilliant teacher and guide and offers a perfect example of living your dharma.

With her skill and guidance, Stacey continually demonstrated a focused commitment as my yoga teacher by aiding me in turning problems into opportunities of greater awareness, allowing each of us to discover our best selves. Ever day she committed to and supported her students' needs because she listed to our needs.  She unfailingly provided positive results in each of us born from her dedication to hard work.I have no doubt that these traits will trtanslate in to her real estate practice. As in yoga, Stacey will impress with her commitment to finding the best home for her clients.

Stacey was my yoga teacher and healer for about 2 years. She is an amazing empath. She is so positive about life and living and love.

I want to wish you the best of luck with your new adventure and to tell you that you'll definitely be missed!! You were a huge help during my transition of "finding myself" after my divorce. I was able to take your messages during the various classes and relate them to my life at the time. I am in a great place and absolutely love my life now. I'm sure I would have found my path eventually but your classes/messages definitely sped up the process. You may not have known how much you have helped me the past few years but you've made a huge impact on my life! Thank you!!!

You are an incredibly special lady.  I knew that the moment I laid eyes on you when you agreed to meet me one on one when I was not doing so well.  Your smile, your demeanor, your kindness, and love in your tone of voice set aside a special place in my heart forever.  Your love of dogs and your love of what you practice and teach is beyond words right now of how uplifting and special and encouraging you have been to me.  And all this not even seeing you in the studio for a year at least.  You have changed my view of yoga, and all it teaches, and that will be with me always.  I drink white tea because of you.  I know how to breathe and blow up a balloon because of you.  I love the name Stacey because of you.  I know this is all mushy, but this is the impact you have had on me.  I will write something for the website, but not quite this personal and mushy.  However, I did want you to know how special of a lady you are.

I am so grateful to have experienced your healing sessions and learn yoga at your studio. I had never taken any yoga classes prior to your studio and I have only been going to your studio for 6 months, but in that short time; your studio and healing sessions have changed my life. I will never forget what you have taught me and the special gift you have for healing!

Love being in your presence, your ability to hold space never ceases to amaze me. It's like instant connection to God the moment I walk in to the studio, it's not something I can put into words, but for me, I feel like it's my "yoga home" there. Even moreso than my own.

Anyway, just wanted to share some feedback because what happens after shamanic journeying also never ceases to boggle my mind.

I was all psyched after the workshop, even though, to be 100% honest, I fell asleep at one point in the journey, but woke at exactly the time when the journey ended, it was bizarre. I also felt a deep, deep peace. So, I was all clear, and feeling great. In fact, this morning, I was all thinking about how awesome you are, how great everything was, and then, Immaculate Mother came on the playlist I had and it was instant flow of tears. This healing seems to happen "out of order", where I feel it later, and never when we're sitting there and I suppose it's Divine Order. There really isn't a line, you're right.

Thank you for being you, I am so grateful to have a teacher like you. So, so so so grateful I've found you.

For several years now, probably close to ten, you have been a tremendous source of peace and healing for me. You may not know this but you were my introduction to yoga! I remember two studios ago when you would patiently correct my downward facing dog time and time again.

Since then coming to class has been a salvation for me. It has helped me through a separation, a divorce, and more physical injuries than I care to remember.  Your calm and humor and the manner in which you exude caring to everyone who comes to your class is such a gift to everyone who has the good fortune to know you.

Though I am not a regular student, Stacey, I can't begin to explain the influence you have had on life. Your grace, compassion and aura of peacefulness and love is something I rarely encounter during my daily travels

I came to Stacy's Class A year ago with a lot of experience in the fitness field ... I had my own studio for years and Connecticut and have a number of degrees and fitness education. When entering Stacey Studio I knew something was different and actually it help me change my life!
Along about June of when I move to Cottonwood, I broke my back kayaking. I've no idea what kind of condition I'd ever be in again. After a month of absence from her classes I was able to return and slowly start working on becoming whole again. I had broken L1 L2 L3 and L4 it was a serious injury and I never knew if I'd be okay.

I go to Stacy's classes 5 days a week and the Miracle is not only am I healthier than I was before, but I gained an inch back from the height that I had lost by crushing my spine!

Stacey is brilliant insightful and amazing teacher and has changed so many lives and our studio. I have also lost a size in clothing and 5 pounds in weight. In Connecticut I worked out daily at the gym and yet Stacy's class and yoga has son all these remarkable things. It is the most challenging class I've ever been in. The people that are attracted to the studio are genuinely solid good kind people I feel very blessed to have found Spirit rising in Stacy and all the girls and guys.
Thank you Stacey!

I was not your student long but feel as a forever one in some ways.  I suppose it will always be so, for no matter where I am, I look for you in my teacher and have not yet found her or him.  Life has taken many turns and yoga has not been in my life regularly at this time.

When I am in stressful situations, I think of our classes and am calmed.  I recall poses and the feels of them which helps me.  The stretches touch places of peace and of places not yet at peace.

I have gone to many yoga classes and been in several different studios.  But never before has the teacher stayed with me.  You, you are here.  You are in the poses I do.  You are in the words which come to me at exactly the right very difficult moment.  You are whispers in the articles I read from the current yoga magazine I was so strongly guided to get the other day.  Your spirit has left an indelible impression on mine.

After attending several yoga classes of Stacey’s, I felt comfortable enough to discuss some recent medical/emotional issues and asked if she could help via her energy healing. We discussed my issues in a comfortable and informative way. Stacey was kind and considerate and seemed to know and understand my struggles. We had a brief healing session which left me feeling better. A week went by and I felt stronger and more capable of understanding my issues yet that brought up more questions and gave me the freedom to know I needed more.

Our second healing session was remarkable, I felt like we got closer to the real problems. Stacey knew just what to do and went to work activating and releasing some very strong problems that had been plaguing me for a long time.

It felt like a miracle had occurred and my renewal, my mood, my body, and my emotions were healthy and alive again. Occasionally I test myself by asking what had been holding me hostage for that spell. I laugh at myself and quickly roll my eyes and say to myself, well it doesn’t matter any more.

Stacey Bell is the embodiment of yoga; the union of mind, body and spirit. From the first week of classes with her, my breath has been able to go into parts of my body that I never knew was possible. Her instructions are subtle and extremely powerful. I had a Thai Healing and found myself creating mudras that I had never experienced before. Outside of class I notice the benefits of yoga. I quit taking anti anxiety medication after the first couple of weeks and feel calmer and more centered than I have felt in 20 years. My meditation practice has a renewed awakening and I am eternally grateful to Stacey for deepening of my experiences.

Stacey Bell’s strength is her ability to assess her student’s needs.  Her classes are never the same and everyone of her mixed level students leave believing the instruction was targeted at them.  I took her Deepening Your Practice course  and afterwards practiced solo for 2 years with no injuries, personal satisfaction, and marked health improvement.  I returned to her classes, and without asking for help with anything in particular, she helped me improve my practice.   Stacey moved to Tucson a few months ago, but she left me competent to continue my daily practice independently.

I just want you to know that I am always thinking of you & am so grateful for the impact you've had on my life. I am bringing yoga to my preschoolers (& teaching other preschool teachers how to do the same), teaching paddleboard yoga, adult yoga, & kids yoga and I wouldn't be able to have come to this place as a teacher without you & all you showed me about myself. :) Thank you for being you.

On Saturday past I attending a workshop with Stacey at Spirit Rising Yoga . The workshop was Critical Core: Releasing the Psoas (or something very similar, the title, which isn't the point so isn't important....)
This class scared me a bit, honestly. She kept saying we would not be doing 2 hours of sit ups which relieved me like you just don't know. Since I could lay in Savasana (corpse pose - you just lay there and go away for awhile) and listen to Stacey all day, I decided to take this class and get more of her teachings under my belt and loosen up this incredibly important muscle. Well, I've gained a half-inch back, my lower back no longer hurts, I can bend over easier, stretch easier, sleep better, my brain feels better, in general my self is better.
It took a day to settle back into my self after that class. Everything in our body hinges on this muscle. The Psoas is amazing. I believe I was able to plank today, my first time e.v.e.r., because of this muscle's release. Stacey says it's the most important muscle in our body and you know what? She's right. Even my soul feels better.

I really benefited from this class, (critical core) Stacey!  I was in pain when I came to class & within an hour afterward, it was gone.  I have been able to manage it with the stretches you taught us. Munay! <3

So sad and so happy at the same time. Sad to be losing my teacher, guide, and mentor. Spirit Rising Yoga & Healing, Stacey Bell  has had such a positive impact on my life. Little did I know when I walked into the studio for the first time, I would be finding a place to heal and grow into my true potential. Stacey helped me change the course of my life with her kindness, patience, and love. Her gift for healing the heart and soul is unparalleled. Sedona you are a lucky city to have this gift coming your way.

My first visit was for a private session with Stacey. I found the studio to be warm and inviting. I felt completely comfortable and at ease during my session, and Stacey explained everything as she went along. It's clear that she is quite knowledgeable, and that she has a passion for teaching and helping others. I look forward to working with her again.
